“Oink Oink” Here come the Micro Pigs

I am a Dog Photographer but sometimes I love to get something different in front of my lens.
4 legs – Yes.
Tail – Yes.
Wet Nose – Yes.
Does it bark? – No. It makes Oink Oink.

Voila. Please meet the Micro Pigs.
With their wrinkled little snouts, tiny trotters and oversized ears, they are irresistibly cute.

Micro or Mini Pigs are much smaller than a normal pig and I have to say it is much cuter.
Specially the newborns are just like little marzipan pigs.
Micro pigs make fantastic pets as they are very low maintenance. You don’t have to take them for walks and they have very few health issues.
They don’t make much noise, they are easy to toilet train and once they have bonded with you they are very loving.

Micro Pigs are very clean, they like having a bath and they don’t like to be kept in a muddy stinky place. And they love cuddles and a good scratch on their back.
All in all they are very similar to dogs. They do sit, they will protect the house and they love human company and cuddles. Yes they even will join you in bed if you let them.
Micro Pigs are escape artist so keep an eye on your fence or they will look in your lovely flower garden for nice treats.

The adorable animals are being snapped up by celebrities, including Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint, Paris Hilton, Charlotte Church and the Beckhams.
Celebrities like these making Micro Pigs very popular and people forget that they will grow and can get up to 18 years old.

A couple of photos of the adult pigs.
