We all looking for a new home | HULA Animal Rescue

May I introduce to you, Wilson, Snowie, Marbles, Ice and Bubbles.

They all looking to find their forever home hopefully before Christmas.
It’s not fun be be in the kennels over the holidays, all they want is a cosy sofa and a human to cuddle up to.

Wilson is looking for a very experienced owner.
He had a few behavioural issues in his previous home and we need to find a home where
he will not be allowed to show these behaviours. Wilson is hoping that his new adopters
will take him to training classes and enable him to over come any issues he may have.
Wilson does not show these issues in the kennel environment and may take time to show
them at home, therefore he will need set rules from the start to nip some of the
issues in the bud! Wilson needs an adult only home and a cat free home.
Wilson is looking for his adopters to be around most of the day as he can sometimes
howl when left, he is also prone to chewing the odd cushion!
Wilson is a nice lad and in the right home will learn that some of his habits
are not acceptable, he just needs a sensible person who treats him as a dog and
sees past the fluffy hair and appealing eyes.

Snowie is just so adorable, she was very scared when she first arrived,
for this reason we removed her from the kennel block and made her a little home from home room,
she is also taken to the staff house at night.
This has allowed us to get to know the real snowy and she is just the sweetest little lady.
Snowie is very good with dogs and also the staff cats, she can be quite shy at first and
she will need an experienced owner to help her gain confidence.
She has shown to be house trained and also that she sneaks up on the bed at night.
Snowie does have skin issues which will need to be discussed with her new adopter.
She can live with children 15 years and over, other dogs and cats that are confident around dogs.

Marbles is a lovely chap and will make a loyal companion.
He is looking for an experienced owner and would not suit being the first time dog.
Marbles is lovely to walk on lead and appears to get on well with other dogs.
Sadly Marbles was extremely underweight when he came to HULA, he has put on a fantastic 4kg since he has been here,
a few more to go and he will be just right.
This has made Marbles enjoy his food a little too much and therefore he will need to be homed with adults only.
Marbles will bark in his kennel, but this is not the Marbles we know,
Marbles is an affectionate and kind lad and will bring a lot of happy times to your home.
Marbles is looking for an adult only home, he can live with female dogs but no cats.

Ice is a lovely lad who is looking for an experienced home.
Ice has been through a lot in the last few months and we hope that his new home finds him very soon.
He loves to please and enjoys his food so training with treats is a real pleasure for him.
We have noticed he has the art of opening cupboard doors!!
Ice is a quiet boy and is used to being left during the day so we are happy he is left in his
new home for around 4-5hours as long as he is well exercised.
Ice has mixed with dogs while here at Hula and appears good with most,
he can react if a dog tells him off so we feel he would be best suited to be the only dog in the house.
However he can have lots of doggie friends on controlled walks.
He has lived with a cat but has shown to chase while at Hula so he would need a cat free home.
Ice has come from a difficult background, due to this we are looking for an adult only home.
He really deserves a chance to shine; could you give him that chance?

Meet Bubbles, he is a bouncy and happy chap who is ready for his new family to find him.
Bubbles is looking for an experienced owner who is around most of the day. He can be a little destructive
in his kennel, this may just be kennel behaviour or he may chew in his new home, but with plenty of
enrichment and exercise we are sure he will get over this habit.
Bubbles is a strong boy and will need to find a family who will take him training,
we are currrently training him on a gentle leader and this is going well.
Bubbles has mixed well with dogs off lead, he can sometime get excited on lead when he sees another dog.
He also appears good with cats, but could only live with a confident cat that is used to dogs.
Bubbles is able to live with a larger female dog and a very confident cat.
He can live with children 12 years and over.

So please visit HULA or any other rescue centre near you

and give one of these wonderful dogs a home to christmas .
